Dinner and reception flyers
A dinner or reception flyer says who is hosting, which evening, what time and where, with the number of places if they are limited. A warm template with a table photo or a plain background is enough.

How do you choose a dinner flyer?
For a seated dinner, a restrained dark flyer or a photo of a laid table suggests a well-run evening. For a standing reception, a lighter, more graphic template works.
For a dinner debate, put the topic first: it is the topic that decides people to come.
What goes on a dinner flyer?
- The theme or title of the dinner.
- The date, arrival time and start time.
- The venue and the town.
- The number of places, when limited.
- Who is hosting, and the RSVP deadline.
How do you keep it legible?
Write the theme large and the address plainly, so guests can copy it. If the photo is busy, switch to a flat colour behind the text.
Examples of opening lines
- “Dinner debate, 5 December: thirty seats, one table, one question.”
- “A dinner among professionals, no speeches.”
- “Autumn reception: we expect you from 7 pm.”
- “Places are limited, please reply by 20 November.”
Frequently asked questions
- What flyer suits a company dinner?
- A restrained template with no party photo, showing the theme, date, venue and the link to reply. The host's name at the top signals a serious evening.
- How do you show that seats are limited?
- Say so on the flyer, and set the capacity on the sign-up page: once the room is full, further requests go on a waiting list.
- Should the menu be on the flyer?
- Not there. Put it in the invitation email or on the page, with a question about dietary needs.
- Are the templates available in French?
- Yes. The language is changed in the editor, and the French gallery shows the same templates.
